FutureVolt successfully delivered a 60 MW / 120 MWh energy storage system integrated with a large-scale solar PV farm in Gansu, China. Leveraging the region’s abundant solar resources, the project efficiently stores excess solar energy during peak generation hours and dispatches it during periods of high demand, enhancing grid stability and maximizing renewable energy utilization.
The system features advanced lithium-ion battery banks, high-capacity PCS units, and an intelligent Energy Management System (EMS), ensuring seamless coordination between solar generation and storage. Completed within 6 months, the project highlights FutureVolt’s expertise in utility-scale solar + storage solutions and reliable project delivery.
By combining solar power with energy storage, the Gansu project provides peak shaving, load shifting, and renewable energy integration, contributing to regional energy security and supporting China’s clean energy development goals.
